24/7 Launch, Information Session and Workshop
Thursday 29th June 6.30-8.30pm
Warringah Mall Community Room (above library next to Hoyts cinemas)
Come along and find out about the 24/7 Youth Film Festival. See what’s involved, note down important dates for your diaries, hear from previous participants, watch last year’s winning film, ask any questions, take part in a handy hints technical workshop to give yourself a bit of a head start and meet the event organisers.
Saturday 29th July 10am-12pm
Star of the Sea Theatre, Stella Maris College

10am - 11:00am: Registrations
*Printing out the forms and filling them out prior to the day will expedite your registration process, and send you on your way faster letting you maximise your 24 hours making your film. Please bring along your completed application forms on the day. These must be signed by a guardian if you’re under the age of 18.
*Remember to also bring a USB drive (at least 8GB) along to be marked with your official team number. Your film will need to be handed in on this USB 24 hours later.
11am – 12pm: Last minute tips, advice and the list of items (including the secret rule) revealed in an items film.
12pm – It’s go time! Teams then have 24 hours to make their 7 minute (or less) film.
Sunday 30th July
10am – 12pm: All teams to submit films at Warringah Mall Library drop point (on-site tech help will be provided 10:00am – 12:00pm). Keep your eyes peeled for an online submission option!
